All large counties had negative growth from 2020 to 2022 but Placer County

Large counties' under 10-year-old populations are shrinking, with the exception of Placer county. Other capital region counties like El Dorado, Sacramento and Yolo have large decreases in this age group, though not quite as large decreases as Bay Area or Southern Californian counties.
