NPC Delegate Bills Submitted Annually (2008–)

Line graph showing the number of bills (议案) submitted to the NPC each year from 2008 to 2025. The number remains relatively stable from 2008 through 2022, with annual totals ranging from around 400 to over 500. Starting in 2023, there is a sharp and sustained drop, with counts falling to below 300 by 2025.
A bill must be sponsored by either a delegation or at least 30 delegates. Alternating background colors marking different NPC terms.
