The passenger figures grew steadily and more than doubled to 62.5 million and 21.9 million at JFK and HEL, respectively, from 2010 to the end of 2019 prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. Then the figures dropped precipitously in 2020 and remained well below the 2019 level in 2021. At JFK the annual passenger recovered to 55.2 million in 2022, while at Helsinki is increased 12.9 million last year.
