Widespread worry persists among Americans about possible virus infection

A new AP-NORC poll finds a majority of Americans continue to fear contracting a coronavirus infection, but that worry is steadily declining, especially among Republicans.

Results based on interviews with 1,310 U.S. adults conducted June 11–15. The margin of error is ±3.7 percentage points for the full sample.
