The percentage of students in each county who were attending private schools in 2024-25

Total student count includes both public and private schools. Private schools are only included if they have six or more students. Public schools include both charters and district-operated schools. County numbers can be distorted by schools that are registered in one county but serve students in other counties. These may be public charter schools like the Five Keys schools in San Francisco or online schools, either private or charter.
