Research teams have been taking air samples and studying clouds in the Southern Ocean.

Chelsea Bekemeier is aboard the icebreaker, RSV Nuyina, near the Denman Glacier. Another research group aboard the CSIRO's, RV Investigator, has been collecting air samples further north.
