It ranges from 0 to 100. A score of 0 means complete integration (equal distribution across neighborhoods). While a score of 100 means complete segregation (the two groups live in completely separate areas). The index represents the percentage of either group that would have to move to a different neighborhood to achieve an even distribution with the comparison group.
