Winter Traffic Fatalities by Region and Contributing Factor [2019–2023]

Winter traffic fatalities include deaths occurring in January, February, March, and December from 2019–2023. Alcohol-impaired fatalities reflect crashes involving a driver with a BAC of 0.08 or higher. Speeding-related and distracted-driving fatalities reflect crashes where those behaviors were identified as contributing factors.
