PFAS levels in US drinking water

EPA tests of about 3,800 public drinking water treatment systems show average levels of PFOS and PFOA, two common types of PFAS, exceed the new EPA drinking water standard of 4 nanograms per liter. Red dots are average of all test results; yellow dots are the new limits.

A range chart shows the average level of six types of PFAS in about 8,000 tested water systems.
