Source: These data are from the Community College Health Study (CCHS), which occurred from 2021 to 2024 and enrolled 18–19-year-old students from community college campuses across the US.
Notes: Total sample analyzed differs across demographic categories because some data were missing for these questions. The following definitions were provided for participants: cisgender—a person whose gender identity and expression are aligned with the gender they were assigned at birth; transgender—a person whose gender identity and/or expression are not aligned with the gender they were assigned at birth.
