Note: Figure plots the baseline mean and average effects of eligibility for guaranteed admissions at selective public four-year colleges on ever transferring to various college destinations and completing a bachelor’s degree within three years of earning an associate degree. Bars with the same means may have different lengths due to rounding. Dependent variables are regressed on an interaction of a treatment variable and indicator for pre- or post-GAA, treatment (which is the share of highly selective publics the student is eligible for based on GPA: 0, 2/3, or 1), school fixed effects, cohort fixed effects, and student characteristics: race, Pell, gender, age, age-squared, citizenship, and grade point average.The sample is community college graduates with a 2.8-3.9 GPA between 2004-2014.
