If passed, Amendment 77 would allow voters in three Colorado municipalities to lift restrictions on casino games. Gambling has been legal in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek since the passage of a 1990 statewide ballot initiative, subject to bet limits and restrictions on the types of games that casinos can offer. Under Amendment 77, voters would be able to raise or eliminate the current $100 bet limit and approve new game types in their respective cities.
