Notes: This table presents the 2SLS estimates of the enfranchised and the disenfranchised immigration on the changes in the share of native population (Column 1), overall turnout (Column 2) and measures of the member of parliament of the constituencies coming from the Labour party (Column 3), the Conservative party (Column 4), regional parties (Column 5) and other parties (Column 6). As constituencies have been aggregated to their parent units by a weighted average of the electorate size, the party affiliation in Columns 3 to 6 is not a dummy variable. The control variables include the stock of immigrants, the ethnic-minority identity of MPs, and the observable characteristics of the immigrants.
