Communities with Lower Equalized Values Per Free and Reduced Lunch (EVFRP) Qualify for Larger Extraordinary Needs Grants

Extraordinary Needs Grant are a sliding scale grant based on Equalized Valuation per Free and Reduced-Price meal student, or EVFRP. Municipalities with EVFRP under $1.66 million receive $11,730 per free and reduced-meal student, while municipalities over $6.87 million receive no aid. Municipalities between those thresholds receive partial aid.
