Percentage of pork production on megafarms

FarmKind analysis of USDA data for 2022 shows that megafarms selling >5,000 pigs/yr account for >94.5% of the national pig sales. The map below is of pork production, not sales to customers (states with 0% megafarms predominantly consume pork produced in other states).
