Among parents of 5-to-11-year-olds, 30% said "definitely no" to the COVID-19 vaccine in October and 5% said "only if required". Back in April, when only those 16 or older could get vaccinated, 22% of parents of 12-to-17-year-olds said "definitely no" and 15% said "only if required". The numbers are also similar when it comes to vaccine eagerness: 27% of parents of the younger cohort said in October that they will vaccinate right away, just shy of the 30% of the parents of the older age group who said that in April.
