Triangle buildup

The $1.2 billion Lenovo Center-area redevelopment and UNC’s Carolina North proposed mixed-use projects generate much of the Triangle’s current sports construction headlines, but venues devoted to college and youth events made up 85% of the $647 million in sports venue construction that has been completed or committed to in the region since 2016.
