The results of the two surveys cannot be directly compared as the methodology of the surveys and formulation of the responses were different:
November 2022: Russia is waging a war against Ukraine with the aim of its occupation and further annexation / Russia is at war with Western countries and NATO on the territory of Ukraine / Russia is conducting a special military operation against the Nazis in Ukraine / I find it difficult to answer. March 2022: Russia’s war with Ukraine with a view to its further annexation / Russia’s war with Ukraine to prevent the deployment of NATO troops there / Russian military operation against the Nazis in Ukraine / Difficult to answer.
