Source Note: Job applications for alterations were filed with the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) with a file date on or between 04/01/21 - 06/30/21. Applicant's professional title limited to architects (RA) only. Job type alterations include major alterations that require a new certificate of occupancy ("Alteration CO" and "ALT-CO - New Building with Existing Elements to Remain"). Alterations not requiring a new CO were excluded from this study. Project data was shared with firms for confirmation, though not all firms participated.
