The number of new refugee arrivals from Ukraine has slowed while departures from Switzerland have picked up

Requests for special S protection status and departures of Ukrainians from Switzerland.

This data is not exhaustive. It only represents those who have officially applied for S protection status in Switzerland and reported their departure to the authorities. Ukrainian nationals can travel freely within Europe's Schengen area without a visa and are not systematically counted when they cross the border.
