Illinois 7th graders lost proficiency during past 4 years

Illinois students in 3rd grade in 2018-2019 saw 22% fewer students score at proficiency level for reading and 50% fewer in math on their 6th grade Illinois Assessment of Readiness exams in 2021-2022.
