Sluggish concert bookings at Broomfield's 1stBank Center

During its 17 years in operation, the 1stBank Center in Broomfield’s Arista development failed to lure many musical acts to its 6,500 seats each year. Its busiest concert season was 2016, with 33 shows playing the venue. But that number dropped to as low as just five concerts during pandemic-plagued 2020. Ultimately, city officials in Broomfield determined that the 1stBank Center consistently underperformed and it will be demolished later this year.
