How much is Michigan collecting for roads?

Roads are funded by a variety of sources in Michigan (including federal and local dollars). But here's how much the state brought in from 2012-2021 via sources it controls: the Michigan Transportation Fund, general fund money and bonding.

"Other" includes earmarked general fund money, marijuana tax revenue, interest and other sources. Years shown are fiscal years, which go from October through September. Bonding totals for 2021 aren't available yet, although no bonds from the $3.5 billion package were sold last fiscal year.
