September 2024: Funding Across Tier 1, 2 & 3 Cities (₹ Cr) Tier 1 cities raised ₹11,459 cr, reflecting a notable drop from the ₹14,029 cr raised in August but still significantly higher than previous months. On the other hand, Tier 2 & 3 cities experienced a substantial increase in funding, raising ₹1,256 cr, up from ₹630 cr in August. This jump was driven by the Alandur-based M2P's ₹850 crore funding round. Note: This does not include secondary and debt deals of unlisted Indian companies.
