The University of Nebraska-Lincoln took the lead in the Big Ten blood drive Tuesday, Nov. 4 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which lead the competition for the last month. UNL won the $1 million prize money last year, where Nebraskans accounted for 20% of all blood donations. Across the Big Ten, donation totals are over double those of last year, with 54,542 donations having the potential to save 163,626 lives.
