Note: The “Other” category includes options chosen by less than 6 percent of respondents.
These include addressing issues of race, investing in the nation's infrastructure, increasing defense spending, reducing crime, and improving the education system.
The wording of the statements was identical for Democrat and Republican respondents with two exceptions. Republicans received “making abortion less available” and “increasing defense spending” while Democrats received “keeping abortion legal and available” and “reducing defense spending.”
