Domestic threat situation

Self-radicalisation continues to be the primary threat driver on the domestic front, and 52 individuals – comprising 40 Singaporeans and 12 foreigners – have been issued with Internal Security Act orders since 2015. Among them are 13 Singaporeans aged 20 or younger.

NOTES:
• 2024 figures as at July 15.

• Individuals issued with orders of detention are held in custody, while those on restriction orders are not detained but are subjected to strict supervision. Regardless of the Internal Security Act order, all of them will undergo a comprehensive and holistic rehabilitation programme.
