Cement imports were highest in 2010, at around USD 190 million and nearly 3 billion kilograms. They fell sharply after 2011 and stayed between roughly USD 40 and 90 million and 1 to 1.8 billion kilograms through 2024. In 2025 they rose to around USD 150 million and 1.9 billion kilograms. The 2026 bars, covering only January to June and excluding Türkiye, are much lower.
Clinker imports were around USD 12 million and 215 million kilograms in 2010, then close to zero for most of the war. They rose to about 170 million kilograms in 2024 and reached a record of about 520 million kilograms, worth around USD 26 million, in 2025. In the first half of 2026 alone, clinker imports reached about 265 million kilograms, worth around USD 16 million.
