Analysis of vote history on private school choice by South Carolina House district

The table below shows how representatives of each South Carolina House district voted on an Education Scholarship Trust (EST) fund from HB 5164 in 2024. "Yes" votes were in support of ESTs and coded "support" to private school choice, and "No" votes were opposed to ESTs and coded "opposed." The table also shows (a) the party affiliation of each member and (b) whether the leg. district contains a rural school district.
