Real recurrent expenditure per person on justice services
The NT spends more* on prisons and police and less on courts than the rest of Australia.
A grouped column chart shows that both in the NT and Australia-wide, more than 60% of justice sector expenditure is spent on police serrvices, followed by corrective services. A much smaller percentage for both NT and Australia were criminal courts, and civil courts.
