Older age groups in Fresno County saw significant population gains between 2010 and 2017. The single largest gain was among people ages 65 to 69, as they reached retirement age. The median age in the county (the point at which half of people are older and half are younger) rose by a year and a half, from 30.7 years in 2010 to 32.3 years in 2017.
