Low-Income Students Test Better at Integrated Schools

This chart shows that low income students test on grade level in higher percentages at integrated elementary schools. Schools with a diversity index closer to 1 are overwhelmingly Black, Latinx and low-income. Schools with a 2 are integrated. Schools closer to 3 are majority white and/or wealthier.
