TRANSGENDER AND NONBINARY

Project SEXUS finds that 0.5 % of persons aged 15-89 years identify as transgender or nonbinary. The Danish Institute for Human Rights’ own calculations based on SHILD (2020) show that 1.4 % of persons aged 16-64 years identify as transgender or nonbinary. The difference between the two surveys may be due to the difference in age interval or the phrasing of the questions asked.
