From 2016 to 2020, Democrats Gained the Most Votes in the Suburbs Closest to Harrisburg

The municipalities immediately surrounding Harrisburg on both sides of the Dauphin-Cumberland county line had the strongest vote growth for Democrats, including Lower Allen. Meanwhile, inner Harrisburg itself, Carlisle, and outlying rural areas had the most growth in Republican votes.
