Where Alcohol-Impaired Driving Turns Deadly in Florida
Fatality totals reflect traffic-related deaths involving alcohol-impaired driving recorded in each Florida county from 2019 through 2023. Rankings are based on cumulative fatalities over the five-year period and are not adjusted for population size, vehicle miles traveled, or roadway density. Alcohol impairment is defined as crashes involving a driver with a reported blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.08 or higher or where alcohol involvement was noted in crash records.
