At least 42 rappers have died since 2017 as a result of circumstances other than natural causes. Among them, 33 were killed by gunshots, one died by stabbing, one died by suicide, one was killed in a car accident. Another five died by accidental drug overdoses, and one died by a homicide that remains under investigation. At least 12 additional deaths since 2017, which resulted from natural causes, are not included in this list.
