Top N.J. superintendents got big raises after cap was nixed

The top earning superintendents who stayed at their districts before and after the salary cap was eliminated took home an average raise of 20% between 2018-19 and 2021-22, state data shows.

Only includes superintendents who worked at the same districts between the 2018-19 and 2021-22 school years.
