Republican women are getting fewer shots in safe red seats (again)

FiftyPlusOne forecast ratings are used for U.S. House and U.S. Senate races. Cook Political Report ratings are used for governor races. Race ratings as of Oct. 1, 2026. Wins includes any candidate who won their partisan primary or advanced to the general election. In California and Washington, the top two primary finishers, regardless of party, advance to the general election. In Alaska, the top four advance. Excludes Louisiana House primaries, which take place on Nov. 3.
