Chief AI Officers and Responsible AI Officials Across Federal Agencies

A recent executive order on artificial intelligence ordered many federal agencies to appoint chief AI officers (CAIOs). A previous order, issued by the Trump administration, required some agencies to appoint similar responsible AI officials. Agencies with named CAIOs will be noted in bold as they're announced.
