Philadelphia vs. San Antonio

Philadelphia's lead in population over San Antonio shrunk from 194,000 residents in 2014 to 47,000 residents in 2024. Since 2000, Philadelphia has averaged an annual population gain of about 2,500 residents, but San Antonio has averaged more than 15,000.
