Vacant lots are concentrated on Buffalo's East Side
Broadway-Fillmore alone hosts a third of Buffalo's vacant, city-owned parcels, but the Genesee-Moselle, Masten Park and MLK Park neighborhoods have also been hollowed out by abandonment, disinvestment and demolition.
This map shows the number of vacant city-owned parcels in each of the city's planning neighborhoods: darker shades indicate fewer vacant lots, and lighter shades indicate more.
