This table shows the number and percentage of residents enrolled in Medi-Cal and estimated total Medi-Cal spending in each California senate district. For example, 65% of residents in Senate District 16 are enrolled in Medi-Cal. In the column showing the percentage of District enrolled in Medi-Cal, darker blue signals a higher rate of Medi-Cal enrollment while lighter green signals lower enrollment. On a statewide basis, 38% of residents are enrolled in Medi-Cal. The table also shows total Medi-Cal spending by district, which ranges from approximately $2 billion to $7 billion per district.
