When students are back in class

By Aug. 10, the majority of the students in the Sacramento region's largest 20 school districts will have returned to class. The largest districts that start after that date are Twin Rivers and Sacramento City Unified.

Enrollment figures are for 2022-23. Figures for Elk Grove Unified are estimated; about a quarter of the district's students attend year-round school, of which only three of the four tracks are in session at any one time.
