The average contribution base for Chinese contributors in September 2025 stood at just €1,538, a figure lower than that of nationals from the six Latin American countries included in the TGSS statistics, as well as that of Moroccans, despite the complete absence of Chinese workers in ‘basic occupations’, which generally receive lower wages. On the other hand, the gender pay gap in favour of men is just €20, clearly the smallest of all the nationalities identified, including Spanish nationals.
