Speed camera pilot program launched in Minneapolis

During the first month of the pilot program, the city will only issue warnings. Starting Nov. 1, drivers travelling over 10 mph will be given citations, with a $40 fine to repeat offenders, and increasing to $80 for traveling 20 mph over the posted speed limit.
