Voter turnout rates by immigration status for the past four federal elections

Across all three immigrant status groups, there was a decrease in voter turnout between the 2019 and 2021 federal elections. The biggest decrease was in naturalized Canadian citizens who immigrated to Canada less than 10 years ago.
