Largest immigrant labor losses by industry

Restaurants, construction and landscaping lost the most immigrants workers on average between 2024 and 2025. Immigrant laborers are defined as noncitizen employed workers without a college degree between the ages of 18 and 60.

Changes are calculated on average monthly immigrant laborer numbers through August, the latest month available for 2025, compared with the same period in 2024.
