NOTES: SBAC is administered as a basic skills assessment only in grades 3–8 and grade 11. We ask districts that serve grades 9–10 if they reference SBAC scores from grade 8 to assess the basic skills requirement. Districts that use two or more assessments may require students to pass all assessments taken or just one. The most popular basic skills assessments besides the SBAC are i-Ready, Star Renaissance, and mClass with DIBELS. We applied post-stratification weights as the inverse of predicted probabilities of survey response based on a list of characteristics. See Technical Appendix for additional details.
