Across party lines, moms report carrying parenting loads

Among parents who report having a spouse or partner, similarly high shares of Republican moms and Democratic moms say they do more work than their co-parent. Dads' answers show a similar gender divide, and a similar match across partisan lines: They are less likely to do as much or more work as their co-parents.
