The hospitals, which are rated on patient outcomes alone, are almost entirely clustered in Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Lehigh Valley.

Healthgrades' list includes Select Specialty Hospital-Philadelphia and two affiliated hospitals: Einstein Medical Center Elkins Park and Einstein Medical Center-Germantown. Select Specialty does not list a Philadelphia location, and the hospital at the listed address is operated by Jefferson Health. The two other hospitals also appear to be Jefferson-affiliated.
